Yogurt & Berry Breakfast Bowl

When most people grab yogurt for breakfast, it's typically processed, high in sugar and low in protein. This breakfast bowl is a great alternative. It's still an easy breakfast option, but is much healthier than the average yogurt cups.You can use any type of fruit like bananas or pears, but I think seasonal berries taste best. Lowfat cottage cheese is a good alternative to the Greek yogurt.

Ingredients

SERVINGS:
1

1 cup plain nonfat Greek yogurt or lowfat (2%) cottage cheese

1/2 cup mixed berries, fresh or frozen

1 Tbsp chia seeds

Small handful slivered almonds, pecans, walnuts or other raw nuts

Thin drizzle of honey

Directions

Place all the ingredients in a bowl and enjoy!
