What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

Anxious Thoughts…

Do you ever experience anxious thoughts and feelings, and maybe right now in midlife those feelings are stronger than ever? Navigating through your 40s, 50s, and 60s can be full of changes and transitions, and you might feel restless, irritable, discontent and then pile on top of that some health challenges, too, and it can feel like you’re having a “midlife crisis”.

Today, Mazi Robinson is joining us. She is licensed professional counselor who specializes in helping women discover their true voice as they navigate self worth challenges during life stage transitions, especially midlife.

In this episode together, we’re discussing

  • why you might experience anxiety in your 40s and beyond,
  • all of the different ways that it can manifest in your life,
  • and most importantly what you can do to have compassion and take care of yourself through this.

Big Takeaways

  • Anxiety is a normal and temporary feeling that serves as a messenger, indicating that we are facing something new, uncertain, or out of our control.
  • Midlife is a significant transition that often brings restlessness, irritability, and discontent, but it is also a time of reflection and a death and rebirth process.
  • Curiosity is a powerful tool to uncover the root causes of anxiety and challenge the stories we tell ourselves.
  • The intersection of responsibilities in midlife can contribute to anxiety, but recognizing what we can and cannot control can help manage it.
  • Anxiety is unavoidable, but leaning into it and developing a greater understanding of our feelings can lead to freedom and growth.

Some of my favorite soundbytes:

  • "Anxiety is a messenger that's trying to let us know we're facing something new, something uncertain, or something that's out of our control."
  • "Midlife is really a death and rebirth. It is a time of reflection where we're assessing what's gone well, what's serving us well, and what is losing its effectiveness."
  • "Anxiety manifests in constant motion, where we find that we can't sit still and are constantly multitasking."
