What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

Struggling to sleep?

Sleep disorders, like insomnia and even restless leg syndrome, dramatically increase in midlife - especially in women. And when you don’t get enough sleep, it impacts the rest of your health… your metabolism, mood, cognitive function, and even more serious conditions.

Dr. Katie Cederberg is joining us on the podcast this week. She is an exercise and sleep specialist at Standford, currently researching how exercise can impact common sleep disorders.

In this conversation, Katie shares her insights into sleep and the significant impact of sleep on women's health, particularly during midlife. We explore the effects of sleep deprivation, the differences in sleep needs between men and women, and the prevalence of sleep disorders such as insomnia and restless leg syndrome.

Dr. Cederberg also gives us some insights from her research on the relationship between exercise and sleep, as well as practical tips for improving sleep hygiene.

Key Takeaways:

  • Sleep deprivation can lead to fatigue, cognitive deficits, and chronic health issues.
  • Insomnia is the most common sleep disorder among women, especially during menopause.
  • Restless leg syndrome is more prevalent in women and can worsen with age.
  • Circadian rhythm disorders can affect sleep quality and timing.
  • Exercise can help regulate sleep but should be tailored to individual needs.
  • Sleep hygiene practices, such as reducing screen time before bed, are crucial for better sleep.
  • Keeping a sleep diary can help identify patterns and triggers for sleep issues.
  • Creating a calming bedtime environment can signal to the body that it's time to sleep.
