What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.

Do you ever have this sense…

that your body is responding differently to food as you’re getting older?

Maybe, when you eat a cookie or have a glass of wine it messes you up more than it ever did before!

Well, it’s not just in your head.

Your nutritional needs really do shift as you go through perimenopause and menopause. In fact, one of the leading researchers in this space, Dr. Federica Amati, is joining us on the podcast this week.

Dr. Amati works as Head Nutritionist for the personalized health company, Zoe. She’s also the author of two fantastic books, Recipes for a Better Menopause and Every Body Should Know This. And when it comes to knowing exactly how to eat best during midlife, (without being extreme or restrictive about it, which I love) she knows what really does work.

If you need a little more insight into what’s going on nutritionally for you during the menopause years, this episode is for you.

Quick overview

In this conversation, Dr. Federica Amati discusses the significant impact of dietary changes on longevity, particularly for individuals over 40. She emphasizes the benefits of adopting a Mediterranean dietary pattern, which is rich in plants, whole grains, and healthy fats, and how these changes can improve both lifespan and quality of life. The discussion also covers the unique metabolic changes women experience during menopause, the importance of gut health, and practical dietary strategies to enhance well-being during this life stage.

Key Takeaways

  • Improving diet at age 40 can add up to 11 years to life.
  • Dietary changes can still benefit those with existing metabolic conditions - it's never too late to make dietary changes.
  • Gut microbiome plays a crucial role in health and metabolism.
  • Women experience different metabolic responses during menopause.
  • Dietary changes can significantly reduce menopausal symptoms.
  • Eating a variety of plants is essential for health.
