Adding avocado to a smoothie does wonders. Similar to spinach in smoothies, you really can't taste it at all but it makes it incredibly smooth. Make sure you blend this nice and fast to get it super creamy!I recommend this for breakfast or lunch. You can even make it ahead of time, freeze it, then thaw in the fridge for about one hour before you plan to eat it. Yum!If you have a dairy allergy, simply omit the Greek yogurt.
1/2 cup unsweetened vanilla almond milk
1/2 medium banana
1/4 cup nonfat plain Greek yogurt
1/2 avocado
1 large handful spinach
1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder
1 cup frozen strawberries
1 Tbsp flax meal (it's ok if you don't have this...just put it on your grocery
Place all the ingredients in a blender in the order listed. Blend for 30-60 seconds on high until smooth.
