One day in May while hiding from my boys to put self-tanner on my legs, I had an awakening: “I’m sick of this. I’m so over this pressure to be bikini ready for the summer.” I pinched my fat, rubbed my cellulite and thought, "You know what? This is my body that God gave me, and I’m just going to love it this summer and have fun.”

After putting my proverbial stake in the ground, I looked at all the other moms that were dieting themselves into misery while trying to “get ready” for summer. What are we doing to ourselves??
